The three hand blown glass beads from Lebanon are the focal point of this necklace. The piece was designed and fashioned in the United States, with the three central bead components crafted by the women in the Jnoubi Project at the New Horizon Center in South Lebanon. The 36-inch (approximate) silver-plated brass chain slips over the head. The bead assembly hangs approximately 2¼ inches from chain. Chain style may vary slightly from photo. Different lengths of chain available upon request.
The art of glass blowing originated in the region of Lebanon over two thousand years ago. The glass in this piece was created at the Khalifi Blown Glass Factory, located in the city of Sarafand, South Lebanon. This factory is the last of its kind in the country.
